Collaborate   

Don't forget to collaborate with your teacher/guide peers 

How will I learn from others?                How will I share what I know with others?

 

  1. How will student pairs, triads or small groups be configured?

  • Consider varying student experiences, strengths, learning styles and needs.

  • Which combinations allow students to learn from and support one another?  

2.  Depending upon the age, topic and or temperament of the group, consider establishing group "Norms"    

3.  Does the setting encourage and support collaboration?

  • Is it conducive to conversation, can everyone see and hear?

  • How will shared information be recorded and stored for later use?

  • How will the teacher/guide interact, and how often?

  • How will you assure all students contribute to the conversation?

4. What format(s) will students use to share what they know (background knowledge) or what they learn, with their peers?

5.  How much time do students need to collaborate?
