Blended Learning - is a formal education program in which a student learns at least in part through online delivery of content and instruction with some element of student control over time, place, path, and/or pace. 

 

Flipped Learning - is a form of blended learning in which students first study the topic by themselves, typically using video lessons prepared by the teacher[PLN) or third parties such as the Khan Academy. Classroom time is for the students to apply the knowledge by solving problems and doing practical work.

 

Gamification - is the use of game dynamics

to reward achievement and provide  

competition and self-expression. Gamification uses proven techniques from game design to engage individuals with the content.

 

Personal Learning Network - is an informal learning network that consists of the people a learner interacts with and derives knowledge from in a personal learning environment. In a PLN, a person makes a connection with another person with the specific intent that some type of learning will occur because of that connection.


Project Based Learning - is an instructional approach built upon authentic learning activities that engage student interest and motivation. These activities are designed to answer a question or solve a problem and generally reflect the types of learning and work people do in the everyday world outside the classroom.

 

Web 2.0 - are web sites that use technology beyond the static pages of earlier web sites. A Web 2.0 site may allow users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators of user-generated content in a virtual community, in contrast to websites where people are limited to the passive viewing of content
